story time

it was a cool, breezy night and there were friends gathered from all around. one was leaving and the others were mourning. crackheads joined together in a ceremonial last joint as awkward silence and petty chatter was obviously taking over the night. three walk out of a backroom, overcome with "emotion" as the rest just think about how weird it's going to be with him gone. but life is like that, they know, as this is not the first time one has left. but he is such an integral part of sanity...he annoys nobody and he just makes all laugh. but it's life.

things are different now...it was an immediate change. it was easy to notice who was gone...and it is a sad thing that he will be missed so much. but he'll be back, and hopefully i'll still be around to witness his return. and matt, you will be missed by all of us. i know i haven't known you that long, but the way you make me smile ALL the time is just too hard to forget.

a night like that would be hard to turn around...but i did my best to make louis smile again. and i'm thinking i succeeded. it's a good thing...because when i woke up with him smiling over me, i couldn't shake the feeling in my mind and in my heart...i wouldn't want to.
